This was the very first BRICS+ Blind Football International Friendly Tournament held in Moscow form 16th to 21st of December 2024. Three days of competition, filled with challenges, exciting drive and true team spirit, gave unforgettable emotions to all participants and spectators. These sporting tournament has become a unique platform for communication and experience sharing among the blind football players. It confirmed that sport truly has no bounds. Congratulations to all of the participants and spectators on the tournament’s great finish!

Earlier, Russian Presidency also hosted the 2024 BRICS Games, in Kazan from June 12–23, featured 27 sports disciplines and marked a historic milestone as athletes from over 80 countries, including non-BRICS nations, took part in the event. This annual multi-sport tournament, organised by the country holding BRICS rotating chairship, reflects its growing importance in global sports and strengthens ties between the members.

On the final day of the Game, the Indian community in Moscow hosted a brunch and appreciation ceremony for the visiting Indian Blind Football Team at the office of Shri Sammy Kotwani, the president of the the Indian Business Association.
